The Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members And All Affiliated Unions of AIDEF Dear Comrades,

All Action Programmes of the Federation including the Office Bearers meeting scheduled at Avadi on 18/04/2020 is postponed indefinitely. Already informed by the Central Office of the Federation vide AIDEF Special Circular No.60 dated 24/03/2020

Many comrades are asking us about various action programmes already decided and also about the office bearers meeting scheduled at Avadi on 18/04/2020. In this regard AIDEF vide its Special Circular No.60, dated 24/03/2020 have already informed you that all the Action Programmes and the office bearers meeting is postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 Virus situation. Comrades are also asking about the Federal Council Meeting. In consultation with Com.S.N.Pathak, President, the Reception Committee at Kanpur has been requested to inform the Central office of the Federation about their decision in this regard. However considering the National situation and the situation at Kanpur, with regard to COVI D-19 Virus spreading there are all possibilities for postponement of the Federal Council Meeting also. We will keep you informed after getting the feedback from the Reception Committee.

PCDA (Pension) issues Instructions for forwargling_of soft copy  Pension claims in respect of Employees whose date of retirement is on  or before 30/04/2020

claim may be forwarded as a soft copy i.e. scanned copy to PCDA(Pension), Allahabad through email. A copy of PCDA(Pension) letter dated 03/04/2020 is enclosed as Annexure-I of this Special Circular.

Ministry of Health have now issued an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package Insurance Scheme for health workers fighting COVID-19. A copy of the same is enclosed as Annexure-II of this Special Circular. A doubt has been raised that whether the above Insurance Scheme is applicable to the employees of Ordnance Factory Hospitals. The matter was discussed with the Ad dI.DHS/OFB who has clarified that if Ordnance Factory Hospitals start getting patients affected by COVID-19 Virus, then the scheme should be automatically applicable to them as the same will get recorded with the Government Authorities. However we requested him to issue necessary instruction /clarification in this regard.

Employees of Ordnance Factories donates Rs.17 Crores to the PM —CARES Fund

Employees of Ordnance Factories have donated Rs.17 Crores to the PM-CARES Fund. The amount may get further increased after OF Medak deposit their donation in the PM-CARES Fund. Ordnance Factory Employees have once again shown their generosity when it comes to a cause of the Nation. We are proud of them. We are trying to collect the information from the other Directorates also about their contribution to the PM-CARES Fund.
